George, Matt, & I decided to take the dog on a little hike today so we headed up to Bogus Basin and hiked the More's Mountain Trail. What a fun day we had in the beautiful mountains!
Our twelve year old dog enjoyed most of the hike but she still hates the camera! She also didn't like being the trail blazer when there was new growth on the trail. I guess we can add 'bears' to the long list of things she is afraid of! 
She also didn't want to go under the big tree that had fallen across the trail but when I crossed over she decided that she had to be where I was so she came under.
Matt enjoyed showing us the places where he likes to climb. I am sure he won't be getting his Dad or me to rope up and climb up there anytime soon...or anytime ever!
All of us from the geriatric dog to the geriatric parents had a great time....and Matt put up with our lack of speed very graciously!
Sounds like a great hike! Amazing you found a sunny day without rain for it.
ReplyDeleteWe almost didn't go because there were rain clouds all around us but we were lucky and didn't get rained on at all and it was nice and cool.
