On Thanksgiving Day of 2018, for a reason that none of us can remember, we set up a thick mat at the bottom of our stairs and Isabella started jumping from the steps onto the blue mat. She did this every time she came over to the house. In February of 2019, we introduced stair jumping to Matt's friends' little girl, Addie and she loved it too. I recently saw Addie's mom, Jessie, and she said that more than 2 years later, Addie still talks about jumping off the stairs at Matt's house.
On this visit, we decided it was time to introduce Jackson to the joy of jumping! Boy did he love it, although we had to watch him carefully so that he didn't try jumping from the 5th or 6th stair like Isabella does. That will have to wait a year or two!
