George and I lived in the Bay Area of Northern California in 1978-79. Mary was born while we were there. It seemed like the perfect time to go back and do a bit of remembering.

We lived in the first floor apartment just behind the patio umbrella.
When we moved there we were 'adults only' but after Mary was born we no longer qualified so we happily moved a few blocks into a cute little house. We were only there a few months so neither of us had really clear memories of what the house looked like. I was in a post natal fog and he was teaching early morning seminary so we have excuses for our memory lapse. We just couldn't agree as to which house we had lived in. Since it is my blog, I am putting the house that I think was our home!

And George had a fantastic year working at HP Labs on Page Mill Road in Palo Alto with some of the smartest people he had ever known .
What a great life we have had!
