Visit with The Reynold's Family

Mary and Mark are doing a great job adjusting to life with two little ones who are only 1 year and 1 week apart.  It was so wonderful to spend time with them and be a part of their family.
Mary is dedicated to going to story time at their local library each week.  It isn't a easy feat to get two little guys bundled up, loaded in carseats and carried into the library but she has made it a priority.
Jackson loves it!
Watching him enjoy the music and stories and other children makes it well worth the effort.  The big window is perfect for spotting all the 'buses' that pass by.  For Jackson anything that isn't a 'car' is a 'bus'.
Life is pretty crazy.  Here is dinner time.  Mary is eating her own dinner, feeding Jackson his, while giving the little guy a bottle.   And yes, after I took the photo I did take over one of the jobs!
And this is around midnight when Jackson, who isn't a good sleeper, woke up at the same time that the baby woke up for his bottle.  Baby came home from the hospital sleeping better than Jackson slept. Thankfully he is sleeping a bit better lately, MOST OF THE TIME!
I'm glad they make time for some fun as well.  Here are Mark and Jackson at the horse races.  After we all enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner, Jackson was thrilled to watch the horses run!  He was so excited that I think he may be a bit like his Uncle Scott who adored horses from the time he was a baby.
At 18 months, Jackson is full of fun, with a quick smile and giggle.  Besides horses and 'buses' he also loves the dogs who live next door, balls of any size, his tool kit, cars, and of course his Mommy and Daddy.  His first and clearest word was DADDY!
Baby Boy is 6 months old now.  He's more serious than Jackson so it's hard work to get him to smile and giggle but when he does it is heart warming.

Seriously this Grandma job is the best!
