Mark has the first birthday in our family each year. This year I decided to share a favorite memory of each person in our family on their birthday.
Mark works all week and spends hours each day dealing with the public. On Saturday he likes to enjoy the peace and quiet of home. Mary had planned an outing with about 20 people from their ward to go to dinner and then to see "Wicked" at the Kennedy Center. I know that this was NOT something that Mark had any interest in doing but he did go. And I know the main reason he decided to go was that Mary wanted him to. I love that he loves our daughter enough to sacrifice his free time and do something just because she wanted him to! Thanks Mark for being such a good, caring, loving husband and a fine man. We're glad you are in our family!
